This petition is filed under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for a direction to the Magistrate to consider the application for bail of the petitioner files it on surrender, on the same day.
2. When an accused surrenders and files an application for releasing him on bail with notice to the Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Magistrate is expected to pass orders in the application without any delay. In such circumstances, I find no necessity to give any direction as sought for.
