P - ( ; j r V -7- treatment given to PWs- I and 2. Ex.P.6 is the wound certificate of PW- 1 whereas Ex.P.3 is the wound certificate issued by PW-6 in respect of PW-2. The history recorded in Ex.P.6 and 3 clearly reveal that the injuries were due to assault. The medical certificate Ex.P.3 reveals that PW-2 has sustained stab injury over the chest and some other incised injuries on all over the body. It is the definite case of the prosecution that the knife was used for commission of the offence. The wound certificates Exs.P.6 and 3 and the Summary Sheet Ex.P.4 is spoken to by the doctor PW

He has deposed about the injuries sustained by both injured. It is specifically deposed by the doctor that incised and stab injuries are found over the body of PW-2 on the chest region, face and right wrist. So also PW- 1 had sustained cut injuries and incised injury. Cut/incised injury can be caused by sharp cutting weapon i.e.. knife. Therefore? the ocular evidence is supported by the medical evidence.
