On the previous occasion, this Court had noticed the fact that the land in question is admittedly within the limits of the Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, which is now the Greater Bengaluru Authority. The petitioner is seeking directions to the survey settlement authorities to survey the property in question. Nothing is said in the writ petition as to what is the reason for the petitioner to seek such directions to the survey settlement authorities or the revenue authorities. If there is any dispute between the petitioners or a counter claim - 3 - NC: 2026:KHC:700 WP No. 21690 of 2025 HC-KAR made by some other person in respect of the land in question, then the remedy for the petitioner would be to approach a competent Civil Court. It is within the powers of the Civil Court to issue directions on an application to be made by the party to the revenue authorities or survey settlement authorities to furnish any information.
