FIR in Crime No.483/2024 of Soladevanahalli Police Station, Bengaluru City is registered for offences punishable under Section 3, 4, 5 of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1956 and Section 143 (2), 143(3) of BNS,
The police inspector, attached to women protection wing, CCB, Shantinagar, on 19.12.2024 at 3.15 p.m., on receiving a credible information, lodged a complaint alleging that in the ground floor of House-9, situated at Chikka Banavara, Maruthi Nagar, Kempapura - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:7709 CRL.P No. 1293 of 2025 main road, accused are running prostitution. Based on his complaint, aforementioned case was registered against accused Nos.1 to 3. The police team along with panchas went to the spot and conducted a raid in the said house. From the spot condom packets, debit cards and cash of Rs.10,500/-, bank pass book etc., were seized. The statement of the victim and the customer were recorded. The android phones of the customer were also seized.
It prosecution that, petitioner/accused No.3 with the help of accused Nos.1 and 2 was running a brothel in the aforementioned house taken on lease. It is alleged that, the accused were sending victims photographs to the customers through WhatsApp and used to invite them to the house.
The learned High Court Government Pleader has contended that the investigation is under progress and in view of the nature allegation, petitioner is not entitled for bail.
Petitioner is a woman. She is arraigned as accused No.3 in the FIR. She is in custody from - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:7709 CRL.P No. 1293 of 2025
20.12.2024. She has no criminal antecedents. She has undertaken to furnish adequate surety to ensure her regular presence before the Court. Hence, by imposing stringent conditions, petitioner can be admitted to bail. Accordingly, I pass the following;
O R D E R Petition is allowed. Petitioner/accused No.3 in Crime No.483/2024 of Soladevanahalli Police Station, Bengaluru City, shall be enlarged on bail, subject to following conditions:
She shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) with two sureties for the like sum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court.
2. She shall furnish proof of her residential address and shall inform the Court, if there is change in the address. - 5 - NC: 2025:KHC:7709 CRL.P No. 1293 of 2025
3. She shall not directly or indirectly tamper prosecution witnesses.
4. She shall not indulge herself committing any offence.
