ORDER 27.09.2025 Mr. Naheim Sheikh, learned counsel for respondent No. 4 submits that the petitioner has wrongly mentioned his age as 57 years, whereas as per date of birth certificate issued by the Head Master, Government Middle School, Chikri, the date of birth of the petitioner is 02.03.1958. He has further submitted that the petitioner has crossed the age of 60 years, therefore, he cannot continue as Lambardar. Be that as it may, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner for the last four consecutive dates of hearing. Hence the present petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Interim direction shall stand vacated. The official respondents are directed to to hold the elections for the post of Lambardar for Village Chikhriban, Tehsil Mandi District Poonch within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.
