After arguing for a while, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks disposal of this petition with the liberty to approach the respondent-Bank with a proposal for restructuring of the account. He submits that he would feel satisfied if this petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent-Bank to consider the proposal and take appropriate decision in accordance with the law.
Having heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent-Bank with the proposal for restructuring of his account within a period of two weeks from today.
In case the petitioner approaches with such proposal, the same shall be considered by the Bank as per the parameters applicable to the restructuring of the loans and decision taken thereon within two weeks.
