Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the detention order bearing No. DIVCOM-“K”/189/2023 dated 24.11.2023 issued by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir challenged in the writ petition has outlived its life rendering the instant petition infructuous.

Perusal of the impugned detention order reveals that the same has been issued on 24.11.2023 and was valid for a period of one year which has expired on 24.11.2024.
