Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Giridih (Cyber) P.S. Case No. 29 of 2024 corresponding to Cyber Case No. 91 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 111/ 317(4) / 319(2)/ 318(4)/ 338/ 336 (3) 340 (2)/ 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 66(B), 66(C), 66(D), 67 and 67A of the I.T. Act., pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II- cum-Special Judge Cyber Crime, Giridih.
Bail application of the petitioner was earlier dismissed as withdrawn vide B.A. No. 11032 of 2024 by order dated 11.02.2025.
On 10.07.2024, Giridih cyber police on the basis of confidential information apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons from a place near Bagodar Forest area. On search, three mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than a year.
Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge Cyber Crime, Giridih in connection with Giridih (Cyber) P.S.
