Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Jeteya P.S. Case No. 02 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 341, 323, 379,384, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 11 of Bengal Gambling Act, pending in the court of Sri Rishi Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa.

On 16.01.2024 Jeteya Police apprehended one Vikash Nishad on the allegation that he was enticing the people into gambling near Kantikora forest.

It was submitted that name of the petitioner has come in the confession of apprehended accused and similarly situated co-accused Tinku Nishad has been granted anticipatory bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide A.B.A. No. 1139 of 2024.

In view of the submissions made, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is directed to surrender before the learned court below within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the learned court below on his surrender, shall release him on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty-five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Rishi Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa in connection with Jeteya P.S. Case No. 02 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Ranjeet/ Uploaded (Ambuj Nath, J)
