Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhanbad Cyber P.S. Case No. 08 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, Sections 66(C), 66(D) of the Information Technology Act and Section 42(3)(f) of the Telecommunication Act, 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional District Judge-II, Dhanbad.
On 15.01.2025, Dhanbad Cyber Police on the basis of confidential information that cyber criminals had assembled in the house of Shivan Das raided the place. The petitioner was apprehended from there. On search, one mobile phone was recovered from his possession. It is alleged that the petitioner had committed cybercrimes.
It appears that the petitioner is in custody for about ten months.
Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-II, Dhanbad, in connection with Dhanbad Cyber P.S.
