10.09.2012: The petitioner is an accused in a case registered under Sections 498A & 406 I.P.C. It is alleged by complainant that she was subjected to torture and treated with cruelty at the hands of petitioner for want of cash of Rs. 45,000/- and a motorcycle. It is submitted that the complainant has already obtained decree of divorce and now they ceases to be husband and wife. Learned counsel, appearing for the complainant, has opposed the prayer and submitted that previously a car was given and again demand of motorcycle and cash of Rs. 45,000/- have been put forth. Since the complainant herself had initiated for getting decree of divorce, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender in the court below within three weeks from today and on such surrender, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur in connection with C/1 Case No. 3512 of 2010, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
