For the respondents: Mr. R.K. Bawa, A.G with, Addl. A.G. and Mr. J.K. Verma, Dy. A.G. Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J. (Oral): The petitioners claim they are entitled confirmation of work charge status on completion of 8 years of service. According to them, they have completed such service as on 31.3.2004. If as on that date, the policy regarding confirmation of work charge status was available in the IPH Department, the claims of the petitioners are to be considered, as has been held by this Court in CWP No. 2735 of 2010, titled Rakesh Kumar vs. State of H.P. and ors. Therefore, there will be a direction to second respondent to examine the case of the petitioners in light of the judgment referred to above and take appropriate action in accordance with law within four months from the date of production 2 of a copy of this judgment and a copy of the judgment, referred to above, along with a copy of this writ petition by the petitioners.
