Public Prosecutor ORDER(Order of the Court was made by ARUNA JAGADEESAN, J.)This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to produce her daughter by name Kalaiyarasi, aged19 years, before this Court and set her at liberty. 2. It is alleged by the petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of this petition that she has two sons and one daughter. Herdaughter-Kalaiyarasi/the detenue, was working in a Spinning Mill at Kankeyam of Tiruppur District and she was staying in a hostel attached to that mill. Thereafter, the detenue came to the house to attend the puberty function. On 24.07.2011, the detenue was sent to her working spot along with her distant relative by name Arumugam, and thereafter, she was found missing from Arapalayam Bus Stand. They searched for her in many places, but in vain. The petitioner has also given a complaint to the second respondent-Police. Since no action was taken on the complaint, the present HCP has been filed.
Today, the detenue-Kalaiyarasi and the petitioner appeared before this Court. When we enquired the detenue, she stated that she is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 219 years old and she would like to go along with her mother/thepetitioner herein and she is not under the illegal custody of any one.
