The marriage between Petitioner and Respondent was solemnized on 24.10.2022 as per Christian rites and customs. Due to differences, parties have been separated. Thereafter, Respondent filed a petition in I.D.O.P.No.70 of 2025 on the file of Principal District Court, Erode, seeking for divorce. 4. This Court vide order dated 11.12.2025 referred the matter to mediation. Pursuant to the mediation, parties have amicably resolved all their disputes and differences. Petitioner and Respondent entered into a settlement agreement dated 09.01.2026 before the Mediation centre and the same is reads as follows: This SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT entered in to on 09.01.2026 between G.Sharon malini and J.Sujith jeramiah Whereas1. Disputes and differences had arisen between the parties hereto and Tr.Cmp(md).no 594/2025 and Cmp(md). No. 16803 & 16804 of 2025 was filed on 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR.CMP(MD)No.594 of 202506/10/2025 before madurai bench if madras high court2.

The matter was referred to mediation / conciliation vide an order dated 11/12/2025 passed by Honourable Mr. Justice Mohammed shaffiq3. The parties agreed that mr. Ramesh would act as their mediator/conciliator4. Several meetings were held during the process of mediation/Conciliation from 19/12/2025 to 09/01/2026 and the parties have with the assistance of the mediator/concilator voluntarily arrived at an amicable solution resolving the above mentioned disputes and differences5. The parties here into confirm and declare that they have voluntarily and of their own freewill arrived at this settlement agreement in the presence of the mediator/conciliator6. The following settlement has been arrived at between the parties fellow,A. Petitioner has agreed to give 7 sovereign thalichain, Ring ¾ sovereign, Honda duo bike to the respondent.B.Respondent has agreed give 5 documents including petitioner passport Total payment of rupees 6.70 lakhs towards full settlement minor chain 4.1/2 sovereign, 2RINGS ¾ sovereign each to the petitionerC.Both parties are agreed to exchange the above 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR.CMP(MD)No.594 of 2025articles and the amount of 6.70 lakhs to be paid through bank transaction on or before 12/02/2026 with out failD. Both parties are agreed to with drawl their respective cases against each other after settlement of the above termsE. Both parties are agreed to file an mutual divorce application before the thoothukudi district court.7.

Operative part

By signing this agreement the parties here to stated that they have no further claims or demands against each other with respect to Tr.cmp. (MD). No 594/2025 in Cmp(MD).No. 16803 & 16804 of 2025 and all disputes and differences in this record have been amicable settled by the parties here to through the process of conciliation/mediation5. This transfer civil miscellaneous petition stands disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 09.01.2026. The Settlement Agreement shall be treated as part and parcel of this order.
