ORDER :
This petition coming on for orders upon perusingthe petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and uponhearing the arguments of M/S. VEERA KATHIRAVAN Advocate for thepetitioner, and of MR. L. MURUGAN, GOVERNMENT ADVOCATE, ( CRL. SIDE)for the Respondent, the court made the following order: The petitioner gave a complaint against her husband and in – laws andas the respondent police did not register a case, this petition is filed.
The learned Government Advocate submitted that originally a casehas been registered by the Thuraiyur police Station on the complaint givenby the petitioner against her husband and in-laws under Sections 323, 506(ii) of IPC., and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and that matter hasbeen referred to Social Welfare Officer.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that before the Social Welfare Officer, her husband and in-laws made false promises andbelieving them, the petitioner went with her husband and thereafter, herhusband and in-laws started ill-treating her.
