When the matter came up for hearing on 09.12.2024, this Court passed thefollowing order:In Crl.O.P.(MD).No.21467 of 2024“The petitioner has filed this anticipatory bail petition on the ground that asummon has been issued by the Police for her appearance.2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that onlysummon was issued to the petitioner to attend for the enquiry and the presentanticipatory bail petition has been filed before this Court. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioneris willing to attend the enquiry. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it was brought to the noticeof this Court that the petitioners attended enquiry before the respondent Police andtheir statements were also recorded.5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the rolethat has been assigned to the petitioners and also considering the fact that thepetitioners have attended enquiry before the respondent Police, this Court is inclinedto grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners subject to the following conditions.6. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on anticipatory bail inthe event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen days from thedate of receipt of a copy of this order, before the learned Judicial MagistrateNo.I, Madurai, on condition that the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum ofRs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties, each for a like sum tothe satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest orto the satisfaction of the said Magistrate, on further condition that:[a] if the petitioners fail to surrender before the said Magistrate within a periodof fifteen days, this order shall stand automatically cancelled.4/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP(MD).
