ORDER :
The Court Made the following order :-The petitioner is accused No.4 in Cr.No.138 of 2011 on the file of the respondent police for offence under Section 171(B), 188 ofI.P.C r/w 123 of ROP Act. Apprehending arrest, at the hands of the respondent police, the petitioner is before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.
According to the case of the prosecution, the petitioner, acandidate in the Local Body Election, was found in possession of liquor bottles for distribution to the voters.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would deny the above allegations. According to him, due to election dispute, at the instigation of the rival contestants, this false case has been foisted against the petitioner.

Having regard to the nature of the allegations, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, but with stringent conditions:
Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, on executing a bond for a sum ofRs.10,000/- (Rupees ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for alike sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learnedMagistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitionershall report before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m. fora period of four weeks.
