ORDER :
The Court Made the following order :-Apprehending arrest, the petitioner, in Crime No.571 of 2011 onthe file of the respondent Police for the alleged offences punishableunder Sections 171(E), 171(H) of IPC, and 133 of the Representativeof Peoples Act and 66 and 192(A) of the Motor Vehicles Act read with188 of IPC, has come forward with this Petition seeking foranticipatory bail.
According to the case of the prosecution, the petitioner wasfound in possession of Rs.7,800/- for the purpose of distributing thesame to the voter in the ensuing local body election.
The said allegation is denied by the petitioner. According tohim, he never intended to distribute any amount to any voter.
Having regard to the above allegations and all otherattending circumstances, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail tothe petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released onbail, in the event of arrest or on his appearance before thelearned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, on executing a bond fora sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten Thousand only) with two suretieseach for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police orthe police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction ofthe learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that thepetitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and whenrequired.
