For Respondents : Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, Additional Public Prosecutor. * * * 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2 CRL.M.P.(MD)NO.5893 OF 2026O R D E R(Order of the Court was delivered by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.)The petitioner was convicted and sentenced by the trial court in S.C.No.190 of 2023 on the file of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram for the offences under Sections 465 IPC, 465 r/w. 120B IPC and 12(1A(a) of Indian Passport Act. He had been sentenced to two years rigorous imprisonment for the offence under Section 465 IPC and three years rigorous imprisonment for the offence under Section 12(1A)(a) of Indian Passport Act and two years rigorous imprisonment for the offence under Section 465 IPC r/w. Section 120(B)IPC. He had obtained suspension of sentence before the court below. 2. We are satisfied that the petitioner has an arguable case on merits.
