Heard the learned counsel on either side.2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP CRL.(MD). No.721 of 20263. The petitioner / Rajamani is claiming himself as a poosari and one Palsamy, who is the fourth respondent is also claiming poosariship. The said issue is pending before the District Munsif Court, Nilakkottai in O.S.No. 35 of 2025. As far as the present “Kapppu Kattuthal” festival is concerned, a third party may be appointed as Poosari, and such appointment shall be made by drawing of lots. However, the said Rajamani/ petitioner and his family and Palsamy/ fourth respondent and his family shall not participate in the said lot and a third party shall be selected as poosari.4. The third respondent is directed to follow the above direction and select poosari and permit the said poosari to conduct the festival.
