The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found illegal possession of 70 liquor bottles. Hence, the complaint.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions which may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) vehemently objected that there are 47 previous cases pending against the petitioner, which are similar in nature. 2/7 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP(MD). No.206 of 20265. This is the second anticipatory bail application and there is no change in circumstances. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and even though there are 47 previous cases pending against the petitioner and all are similar in nature, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with strict conditions. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur District, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on further conditions that: 3/7 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP(MD).

No.206 of 2026[a]the petitioner and the sureties shall affix their photographs and left thumb impression in the surety bond and the Magistrate may obtain a copy of their Aadhaar card or bank pass book to ensure their identity;[b] the petitioner shall report before the NDPS Court, Thanjavur, daily at 10.30 a.m., and the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily afternoon and evening at 01.30 p.m and 06.00 p.m., until further orders.
