PandiyanORDERIn a suit seeking remedies in respect of apprehended infringement of the plaintiff's copyright in the cinematographic film titled "EK CHATUR NAAR" the plaintiff has presented these two original applications seeking order of interim injunction against the Internet service providers and cable TV operators, who are arrayed as respondents in the respective applications. 2. As proof of the plaintiff's ownership of the copyright, the CBFC certificate mentioning the plaintiff as the producer of the movie has been filed. The promotional material reveals that the movie is slated for release today. 3. In matters of this nature, it is likely that irreversible injury will occur if unlawful broadcast takes place. At the same time, in view of the expansive nature of the relief claimed, it is possible that the legitimate business interest of one or more respondents may be affected.
