The petitioners also sought for a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to remove the lock and seal put in No.119/1C3, Ground Floor, Door No.8/3511, B1, P.N.Road, Anna Nagar, Pooluvapatti, Tiruppur to enable them to remove their properties locked inside the premises. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Nos.23486, 23491 of 2025 2. Mr.Abishekmurthy, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for R1 and R2. Notice to the respondents 3 and 4 is dispensed with, as no adverse order is going to be passed against them. By consent, these Writ Petitions are disposed of at the stage of admission itself.3. The case of the petitioners is that they entered into a lease agreement with the 3rd respondent for running their clothing manufacturing units in the ground and first floors. The 3rd respondent filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.4586 of 2019 for regularization of his building, which was disposed of to consider the application of the 3rd respondent. The 4th respondent also filed W.P.No.28776 of 2017 against the 3rd respondent for removal of the unauthorized construction. The said Writ Petition was disposed of with a direction to the Official respondents therein to conduct an inspection and take appropriate action. It is further case of the petitioners that pursuant to the said order, a lock and seal notice was issued by the 1st respondent on 10.08.2023 and the premises were locked without any notice to the petitioners, who are occupants of the building on lease. The machineries / properties of the petitioners worth about Rs.1,36,00,000/- in toto are inside the locked premises and the petitioners already identified a new place to continue their business. Though the petitioners requested the respondents 1 and 2 to de-seal the premises, enabling them to remove the machineries, there is no response from https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Nos.23486, 23491 of 2025 them their till now.4. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 fairly conceded that the petitioners are tenants in the subject property, who have been occupying both in ground and first floors of the premise and they are willing to de-seal the premise and enable the petitioners for removing their belongings.5. Considering the submissions made on either side and taking note of the fact that the petitioners are tenants in the property in question, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the lock and seal of the premise till 18.07.2025, so as to enable the petitioners to unmount the machineries and vacate the premises. Needless to state that on the expiry of the specified period, the respondents 1 and 2 shall again re-seal the premise.6. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. W.M.P.Nos.26359 and 26367 of 2025 are ordered and other Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. List these matters on 21.07.2025 for reporting compliance.(J.N.B.J.,) (M.J.R,J.,) 27.06.2025Index: Yes / No https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Nos.23486, 23491 of 2025 Internet: Yes / NoarNote: Issue order copy on 27.06.2025J.NISHA BANU, J.ANDM.JOTHIRAMAN , J. arTo:1.The Commissioner,Tiruppur Municipal Corporation,Mangalam Road, Tiruppur-641 604.2.The Assistant Commissioner,Zone-2, Tiruppur Corporation,Tiruppur.W.P.Nos.23486 and 23491 of 2025 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Nos.23486, 23491 of 2025 27.06.2025
