Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2One N.Senthilkumar filed W.P.No.1406 of 2024 seeking certain reliefs regarding the management of Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch. The said writ petition was disposed of by a Division Bench of this Court on 08.02.2024 with the following directions:“7.For the foregoing reasons, we pass the following order:i.The Ad-hoc Committee constituted by the Governor under order dated 27.01.2023 shall now function as a Body of Administrators:ii.The Body of Administrators shall conduct the day-to-day affairs of the State Branch and shall also conduct the elections of the Managing Committee of the State Branch in accordance with the bye-laws/provisions governing the State Branch;8/17 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P. No.13937 of 2024iii.The District Branches and other persons concerned with the State Branch shall cooperate with the Body of Administrators for conduct of the elections;iv.The elections shall be concluded within four months;v.Till the elected body takes over, the Body of Administrators shall continue to conduct the day-to-day affairs of the State Branch, however, may not take any policy decision.”3In the order aforesaid, the Division Bench has, inter alia, specifically mandated that the District Branches and other persons concerned should extend their cooperation for the conduct of elections.4The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that even though on 13.02.2024, communications were sent to the respondents for furnishing details, most of them have not properly responded to; this exposes the petitioner to a possible action for contempt and that is why, the present writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.5All the respondents herein are directed to respond immediately 9/17 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.
