The grievance of the petitioner is that she is also a Tsunami affected person and the said fact has already been enquired into by the respondents. However, the tenement was not allotted. When the matter came up for admission, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, the learned Standing Counsel taking notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3 would submit that the case of the petitioner will be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:-
(i) The petitioner shall be present before the Executive Engineer, Division – 5, Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, Mylapore, Chennai – 600 004, on 02.04.2025 and submit an additional representation by enclosing the copy of this order along with all the relevant documents;
(ii) Upon receipt of the same, the claim of the petitioner shall be decided in the manner known to law;
