Till date, the same was not considered by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a mandamus is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.11.2024. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the property. The first respondent after issuing notice to the petitioner and to the persons whose names are shown in Patta No.93, and after affording them an opportunity of personal hearing and holding an enquiry, shall proceed to mutate the patta including the name of the petitioner. In case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.3054 of 20255. With the above directions, the writ petition is allowed.
