By this petition, the petitioner, who was dismissed by respondent no.2 Society, has challenged order passed by two authorities below by which dismissal of the petitioner has been held to be bad but reinstatement and back wages have not been granted to the petitioner. The question, which arises for consideration is whether the authorities under Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 can grant relief of reinstatement and back wages to an employee who is dismissed by the Society. The parties are put on notice that the petition shall be disposed of finally at the admission stage. Petitioner to file detailed synopsis, dates and events within a period of two weeks.
