By consent of parties, Petition is heard finally. 2] The petitioner seeks correction of date of birth in the Secondary School Certificate which was mentioned as “ THIRTY FIRST * BAD DATE * NINETEEN EIGHTY NINE “. The learned counsel Shri Soman submits that the petitioner has approached at a belated stage after about 3 years for seeking correction. 2 3] We have considered the submissions, perused the record placed before us. In the facts of the case we direct respondent no.3 to pass appropriate order in respect of correction of the date of birth as appearing in the certificate after going through the record and if necessary, after hearing the petitioner. The decision shall be taken by respondent no.3 within 6 weeks from today. The petitioner shall appear before respondent no.3 on 13th October 2011 at 11 a.m. Rule is made absolute in above terms.
