CORAM : B.P. DHARMADHIKARI & SUNIL P. DESHMUKH, JJ. DATE : 19TH JUNE 2012 (2) Writ Petition No. 5406 of 2011 COURT'S

ORDER (Per B.P. Dharmadhikari, J.) :

1.

Heard Mr. Deelip Patil Bankar, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners, and Mr. Alok Sharma, learned ASGI, appearing for the respondents.

2.

Mr. Sharma reads out to Court, a communication dated 13-6-2012, sent by Chief Manager (Retail Sales), to Divisional Office at Aurangabad. Copy of the said communication is taken on record and marked as Exhibit "X" for identification.

3.

It is apparent that because of wrong mention and wrong spelling of location 'Bherlapur' in advertisement dated 15th February 2011, respondents have cancelled the selection process and have decided to return the deposits to the applicants who have applied in response to that advertisement. The fresh selection process is undertaken by issuing advertisement disclosing correct name of the location in accordance with law.

4.

The grievance of the petitioners is, therefore, redressed. The petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. (SUNIL P. DESHMUKH) (B.P. DHARMADHIKARI) JUDGE JUDGE bgp/wp5406 .........................
