DATED : 2ND SEPTEMBER, 2005 DATED : 2ND SEPTEMBER, 2005 DATED : 2ND SEPTEMBER, 2005 P.CP.CP.C. . Heard Counsel for the Appellants and the Respondents. . These are the Civil Applications for condonation of delay of 85 days in filing the above five appeals. They are arising out of Section 218 of the MMC Act. Counsel for the respondents contended that this is a statutory appeal for which period of 30 days only is prescribed for preferring appeal and in that Section there is no provision for condonation of delay. According to the counsel for the Appellants, they were to prepare about 25 Appeals from the same order. Therefore preparing paper books and all the compilations took time. In the circumstances and looking to the issue involved, explanation is satisfactory. Delay is condoned in all the above appeals. Civil Applications are allowed and disposed of.
