The learned counsel for the petitioners has invited our 2 aswp-4723-4724-11 attention to the scheme of Section 24(2) of the Bombay Primary Education Act, 1947 and has submitted that he has a remedy of an appeal under the said section against the suspension order passed by respondent no.3. He, therefore, seeks leave to withdraw the petitions so as to resort to the remedy of an appeal under Section 24(2) of the said Act. Leave granted and the petitions are disposed as withdrawn. If an appeal under Section 24(2) of the Bombay Primary Education Act, 1947 is filed within a period of two weeks from today, we direct the respondent no.4 to decide the said appeal on its own merits as expeditiously as possible.
