During the pendency of this Appeat, the Appettant/lnsurance company and Respondent/Ctaimants have entered into a setttement. ln pursuance of the said setttement, the Ctaimants/Petitioners have agreed to forego interest of 1.5% from7.5% to 6% per annum. As such, the Appettant/lnsurance Company has agreed to pay Rs.7,88,750/- (Rupees Seven takhs eighty eight thousand seven hundred and fifty onty) towards the futt and finat setttement in addition to the amount atready deposited and the lnsurance Company has agreed to pay the same. Accordingty, compromise is recorded and the case is settted before the Lok Adatat. ln view of the above said setttement, the lnsurance Company shatl pay the above said amount within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of copy of this Award. ln the event of default or detay in making such deposit, the Appettant/Petitioner is entitted for interest @ 8% per annum as awarded by the Tribunal from the date of defautt.
