Edukondalu, Iearned Assistant Government pleader for 1 I Home (Andhra Pradesh), appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner was addressed to the Hon'ble chief Minister of Andhra pradesh and the chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra pradesh at Amaravati. Hence, it 2 \ is evident that the grievance raised by the petitioner 1 ertains to matters concerning the exhibition of cinematograph films withirr .he territorial limits of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Consequently, conte,r ds that this Court lacks territorial jurisdiction to entertain the present writ p 4. I have perused the material available on record. 5. As rightly contended by the learned Assistant Gc etition. vernment Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh), the representation in qu: ition having been addressed to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, ancl he subject matter of grievance being confined to activities within the State of Andhra Pradesh, the appropriate forum for redressal of such r; ievance would be the High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Amravati.

6. ln view of the above, and while refraining frc r 1 expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's grievance, on the point of jurisdiction, this writ petition is disposed of, reser,r ng liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies available unrl )r law before the competent forum, namely, the High Court of Andhra pli desh.
