Compensation Awarded (Setttement Reached ) in the Lok Adatat- The Corporation/TSRTC has preferred this Appeat aggrieved by the Award passed in MVOP No.681 of 2011 by the XXVII Additional Chief Judge, City Civit Court at Secunderabad. Sri R.Shiva Kumar, the Law Officer of TSRTC and the Respondent/ Petitioner atong with his counse[ have appeared before the Lok Adatat. During the pendency of this Appeat, the Appettant/TGSRTC and Respondent/Petitioner have entered into a setttement and in pursuance of the same, the Appetlant/TGSRTC has agreed to pay Rs.8,95,000/- (Rupees Eight lakhs ninety-five thousand onty) with the same interest i.e., @ 6% per annum from the date of petition titt the date of deposit and the Respondent/ Petitioner has agreed to receive the same towards futt and finat setttement of his ctaim. Accordingty, the compromise is recorded and the.case is settted before the Lok Adatat. ln view of the above sett{ement, the Appettant/TGSRTC shatt deposit the above said amount within (60) days from the date of receipt of copy of Award, after deducting the amount that was deposited, if any. The Certified Copy of Award shatl be made avaitabte to the petitioner within (30) days from today. ln the event of defautt or detay in making such deposit, the Respondent/Petitioner is entitted to claim interest as awarded by the tower court.
