Brief f,acts of the case are as follows :- (a) Petitioner was appointed on merit as PC (Civil) (Women) and her probation was declared with effect from O9.LO.2O2O under the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996. She initially served at Karepally Police Station and later at Julurupadu Police Station from O3.O1.2022, discharging her duties sincerely. Due to severe medical issues, the Petitioner availed 351 days of sick leave from 26.04.2022 to 12.04.2023. During the said period, her minor daughter was diagnosed with cancer and underwent prolonged chemotherapy. (b) The petitioner alter availing medical leave joined duty on 13.04.2023, and applied for regularization of sick period in respect of above 351 days leave, which was regularized by the respondent No.3. Later, the petitoner availed 87 days of sick leave frorn 14.07.2023 to 08.10.2023, which was also regularized. She reported back to duty on O9.1O.2O23 with a medica-l fitness certificate and continued service without any --v disciplinary proceedings. However, respondent No.3 issued both notice and termination order of probation and discharge from service with immediate effect through Notice uide File No.A7-BKGM /1793/2024, dated 05.06.2024 and termination order dated 06.07.2024 served to the petitioner, served on O5.O8.2O24, alleging that the petitioner failed to complete probation period. (c) The impugned order was passed without notice or hearing and after expiry of the probation period, contrary to Rule 18(b)(i) of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, under which the petitioner's probation stood compieted upon expiry of the prescribed period. The petitioner's statutory appeal dated 05.08.2024 is stili pending consideration, while similarly placed constables were granted probation extension. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. 4 . Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the appeal was filed in the year 2024.Titl today the appeal is not considered and prayed to direct the respondents to dispose of the appeal at the earliest possible. \
5. Learned counsel for the respondents did not oppose the disposal of the said appeal within a time bound manner.
6. Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel for respective parties, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, direct the respondent authorities to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on
05.O8.2024, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
