2. Heard Sri P. Rama Sharana Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri Kiran Reddy Mallarapu, learned Standing Counsel for TSHCL, appearing on behalf of the respondents. Perused the material on record. -) \

(a) Brief facts of the case are as follows: that the petitioner's father, late Kishtaiah, was working as an Office Subordinate with the respondent Telangana State Housing Corporation and, due to a brain stroke, he died on 11.11.2024, leaving behind the petitioner, his mother, brothers, and sister. The deceased employee leFt no property, thereby rendering the family helpless. As such, the petitioner's mother submitted a representation dated 07 .01.2025 to the General Manager (ADMN) of the Telangana State Housing Corporation, Hyderabad, requesting that her son, the petitioner, be provided employment either in place of the deceased father's post or under compassionate or any other suitable appointment, to protect and support the family. The petitioner is educationally qualified with B.A. (PGDCA) degree, aged about 29 years at the time of his father's death, belongs to BC-D caste, and submits that he is eligible For compassionate appointment (b) Though several vacancies exist in the respondent Corporation and regular recruitment notifications were issued, compassionate appointments were allegedly being provided to candidates having political influence, whereas the petitioner has been deprived of regular posting due to lack of such influence. Though the petitioner was provided compassionate posting within a few months after his father's death, he has been working intermittently and the cause of action still survives.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that several similarly placed candidates have formed a union and are collectively striving for compassionate appointment, and in pursuance thereof, a joint representation dated 21.11.2025 was submitted to the 2nd respondent, but no response has been received. 5, Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that appropriate orders may be passed in this Writ Petition by directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 07.01.2025 and 21.11.2025 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a reasonable period. Accordingly, prayed to allow the Writ Petition.
6. Learned Standing Counsel for TSHCL, appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the respondents would consider the representations of the petitioner dated 07.01.2025 and 21.11.2025 and pass a ppropriate orders

Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's l representations dated 07.O1.2025 and 21.11.2025 respectively and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (B) weeks from the date oF receipt of a copy of this order.
