(a) Brief facts of the case are as fol r ws: that the petitioner's father, late Perabathula Venkateswar Rtr r, was working as Non-Technical Work Inspector with the respondr nt Corporation and, due to cardiac arrest, he died on 27.09.20L1 wt le in service at the age of 57 years, leaving behind the petitioner l rd his mother. The deceased employee left no property, therebl, rendering the family helpless. As such, the petitioner's mother, p. ,lagendramma, submitted a representation dated 08.12.2011 to Il e Minister for Housing, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyder rbad, seeking compassionate appointment for her son, the petit ( ner, who was then working on outsourcing basis as a Work Insp: rtor under MK Enterprises since 09.12.2010. The petitioner il; educationally qualified with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, relongs to the SC caste, and submits that he is eligible for :om passion ate appointment. (b) Though several vacancies exist in tf 3 respondent Corporation and regular recruitment notifications were issued, compassionate appointments were allegedly being provided to candidates having political influence, whereas the letitioner has been deprived of regular posting due to lack of ; rch influence. Though, the petitioner was provided with compas:; )nate posting t / I 3 within a few months after his father's death' he has been working intermittently and the cause of action still survives'

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that several similarly placed candidates have formed a union and are collectively striving for compassionate appointment, and in pursuance thereof' a joint representation dated 2t'11'2025 was submitted to the 2nd respondent, but no response has been received'

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that appropriate orders may be passed in this Writ Petition by directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 08'12'2011 and 21.11.2025 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a reasonable period ' Accordingly, prayed to allow the Writ Petition' S.LearnedStandingCounselforTSHCL,appearingonbehalfof the respondents submits that the respondents would consider the representations of the petitioner dated 0B'12'2011 and 2l'7t'2025 and Pass aPProPriate orders'
