Petitioner AND The State of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary, Department Housing Secreta riat Buildings, Hyderabad and two others. .., Respondents ORDER This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not providing permanent or regular compassionate appointment to the petitioner and instead engaging him on outsourcing basis intermittently since the date of death of his father, and in not considering the representations dated 07.17.2024 and 21.77.2025, as illegal and arbitrary.

(a) Brief facts of the case are as fc,l petitioner's father, late Syed Abdul Wahed, we : ows: that the working as a Technical Work Inspector with the respondent corprr ration a nd, due to health issues, he died on 17.02.2078 while in s= of 47 years, leaving behind the petitioner l The deceased employee left no property, theret,, -vice at the age td his family. rendering the family helpless. As such, the petitioner made a ^ 07 .1,1.2024 seeking compassionate appointrr { application on nt with the respondent corporation. The petitioner is educa :i rnally qualified with B.Tech (Mechanical) and was aged 26 years at the time of his father's death. The petitioner belongs to the Muslin :omm unity and submits that he is eligible for compassionate appoint nent. . (b) Though several vacancies exist in t te respondent corporation and regular recruitment notifications were issued, compassionate appointments were allegedly beir ; provided to candidates having poritical infruence, whereas the petitioner has been deprived of regular posting due to lack of ;uch influence. Though the petitioner was provided with compa:i: ionate posting within a few months after his father,s death, he h;r: been working intermittently and the cause of action still survives.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that several similarly placed candidates have formed a union anc rre collectively ) _) striving for compassionate appointment' and in pursuance thereor' a joint representation dated 2l'll'2025 was submitted to the 2nd respondent, but no response has been received'

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that appropriate orders may be passed in this Writ Petition by directing the respondents to consider the representations dated Ol'It'2024 and 21.11'2025 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a reasonable period' Accordingly, prayed to allow the Writ Petition'
