3. Heard Ieamed counsel for the petitioner, leanr ,d Govenrment Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Developmen -. appearing for respondents No. l& 2 and learned Govemment Plear er for Finance and Planning, appearing for respondents No.3 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submittecl l rat respondent No.2 invited tenders for execution of work i.e., "Imprc vements to the R/F Nagnur (V) to lrukulla Via Elabotharanr Karimnagar, Karimnagar District". Pursuant to the same, pet t oner-company participated in the tender process and became the suc:essful bidder. Consequently, respondent No.2 entered into an a1.t :ement, dated 3 1.10.201 7 with the petitioner and issued a work order i r favour ofthe petitioner. In compliance with the same, the petitione . executed the contract and completed the work. Being satisfied with he completion of work, the office of respondent No.2 issued Token ,r t.235749g275 dated 14.02.2023 for an amount of Rs.60, lg,73lt and Token No.2602269667 d,ated 03.12.2025 for an amount ot I s.92,g9,7331_. However, the said amount has not been released to th r petitioner till date. 5. Leamed Govemment Pleader for Finance and Planning sought eight (08) weeks' time to release the said amount.

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release the amount to the petitioner-company ln pursuance of Token No.2357498275 dated 14.02.2023 and Token No.2602269667 dated 03.12.2025, expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if the payment is not made within the stipulated period, the petitioner may make a representation for payment o[ interest from the date of expiry of the said period till the date of actual payment in accordance with Rules and the respondents shall pass appropriate orders thereon expeditiously. There shall be no order as to costs.

7.
