I have heard Ms. P.B.A. Ratnamala, learned counsel 2 representing the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R. Laxmikanth Reddy, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3. 3 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed challenging the provisions of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003 (for short, 'COTP Act'). lt is submitted that, in the instant case, this Court, after considering the submissions and keeping in view the interim directions issued in similar matters, was pleased to pass an 2 NTRJ wp-21212_2016 interim order dated 30.06.2016. Pursuant to complianr;r with the said interim order, the respondent authorities have not inkl fered with the petitioner's business. ln these circumstances, the petit r ner prays that the interim order dated 30.06 2016 be made absolul€ and that the present writ petition be disposed of accordingly.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Honr I submits that there is no specific objection to the relief sought by the pr titioner. 5. Upon perusal of the material on record, this Cour notes that an interim order was passed on 30.06,2016 with the follrr ring specified directions. 6. ln vrew of the fact that the petitioner's grievance stood resolved subsequent to the above interim order, this Court finds it just and proper to make the said interim directions absolute. lt is so ordered.
