3. Learned Government Pleader appearing for Roads & Buildings Department has filed copy of the written instructions received by him, wherein it is stated as under: "1. The Roads & Building s Department has not carried out anA road-uidth markings, nor has ang portion of the petitioners' houses been identified or demarcated for tuidening purposes.

2. Due to the insufficient land utidth, the proposed ttuo lane road fonnation has not been undertaken in front of the petitioners' houses.

3. 1f is submitted that, in the euent of any improuement to uiden the road (for road safetg) and inuoluing demolition of any bttildings at the said location, the same shall be undertaken onlg after follouing due process in accordance with laut. " 4 - In view of the above, it is Roads & Bulldings Department which has to undertake road work. Since it is stated that they will follow due process of law in the event of rvidening of the road, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to follow due process of law, in the event of widening of the road. There sha1l be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if rny, pending in this Writ Petition. shall stand closed. SD/.I .
