Petitioner ...Respondents ORDER: In this writ petition, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of respondents No.2 and 3 in taking action on his complaint dated 26.11.2025 to transfer respondents No.6 to 9 from 'the concerned Police Station during the Elections to the concerned Gram Panchayat Elections.

2. Heard Ms. Mogili Anaveni, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj appearing for respondent No.1, Mr.P. Sudheer Rao, learned Standing Counsel for State Election Commission 2 TMD] wp_37308_2025 appearing for respondent No.2 and learned (iovernment Pleader for Home appearing for respondent No.5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner sr-.t'mitted that the respondent No.6, 1S working AS Sub lnspector of Police, respondent No.7 is working as Mantlal Surveyor, respondent No.8 working as Tahsildar ancl respondent No.9 is working as Revenue Inspector at Chinnambhavi Mandal for a long period and severaI contesting candidates 1n the coming Gram Panchalat Elections belong to the same constituency, area, commrrnity and are known to be closely connected to the dominzrnt political groups and the same may affect the Elections being conducted in a free and fair manner and ther: is a chance of undue influence being used in these Electic,rLs.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Horne, however, on instructions submitted that there is no such relationship between respondents No.6 to 9 'rith any of the contesting candidates. He further submitted that all the respondents No.6 to 9 do not belong to the same ----.- I I I 3 TMDJ wp_37308_2025 District however, learned. counsel for the petitioner refuted the same

5. Learned Standing Counsel for State Election Commission submitted that no complaint has been received by the State Election Commission and if any such compliant is received before conduct of Elections, action will be taken in accordance with the guidelines for Conduct of Elections.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the 2"d respondent, since it is the duty of the respondent No.2 to look into the complaints relating to the Elections, this Court permits the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent No.2, who shall consider the same in accordance with the guidelines for Conduct of Gram panchayat Elections expeditiously, before conduct of Elections. 7 With the above direction, this Writ petition 1S disposed of.
