When the matter is taken up for consid,l ation, Iearned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to r,3spondent Nos.4 and 5 to conduct survey, demarcatiotr urd lixation of boundaries of subject land of the petitioner ;> rrsurant to the F iine application No.DERO225O|22282O, dalr d: 30.O9.2025 and to pass appropriate orders. 4 . Learned Assistant Government Pleade r for Revenue contends that the respondent authorities ri.l consider the aJoresaid F-Line application submitted by th e petitioner, by following the due procedure laid down under 1,r v ald conduct survey ald demarcation of the subject l:r rds by hxing boundarie s.

It is settled iaw that the Survey Depa: ment has the authority to conduct survey arrd demarc lte lands in .,} { accorda-nce with the provisions of the Teiangana Land P-evenue Act, 1317 Fasli (Act No. VIII ol l3l7 Fasli), the Telarigana Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, and the Rules framed thereuncier. The Government has issued various circulars specilying the conditions for conducting surveys, particularly F-Line (field measurement) surveys. Individuals requesting such surveys are required to submit specific documents, and if the conditions stipulated in the circulars are fulfilled, the survey and boundary fixation may be conducted. The Commissioner, Survey, Settlements and Land Records, exercising powers under the Telangala Survey ald Boundaries Act, 1923, issued relevant circulars from time to time vide Rc.No.N1/6543199, dated 25.07.2001, Rc.No.Nl ll4OB/07, dated 13.07.2OO7, and Rc.No.N2/ l74l l2OIO, dated 18.05.2010 stipulating the conditions for conducting survey of private lands ald as per the said circulars, if the petitioner fulfils all the conditions of the said circular, it is an obligation for the respondents to conduct survey within the time specified in the said circulars.
