2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing on behalf of f 2 I' respondent Nos.1 to 5. With their consent, this writ petition is taken up for disposal. Notice to respondent Nos.6 to 14 is hereby dispensed with.

3. The facts of the case in brief as stated are that petitioner claims to be an old aged women of 54 years and her husband died in the year 2021. It is submitted that petitioner's elder son was married to respondent No.6 on 06.06.2024 and that immediately after marriage, respondent No.6 started quarrelling r,r,ith petitioner's elder son without any reasons. lt is submitted that on 22.10.2025 when the petitioner and her younger son returned to home after purchase of groceries, they found that petitioner's elder son lying unconsciously on the floor with mu{tiple strips of sleeping pills scattered around him with a suicide note nearby. Thereafter, he was rushed to Olive Hospital and was treated in emergency ward. Subsequently, on enquiry, it is noticed that respondent Nos.6 to 14 abetted and mentally harassed petitioner's elder son to commit suicide. Thereafter, petitioner approached respondent Police and lodged complaint against respondent Nos.6 to L4and the same was acknowledged on 23.10.2025. Since no action is forthcoming on the said representation/complaint, the present writ petition is filed. J

4. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent authorities to dispose of the petitioner's I I representation dated 23.1O.2025 in a time bound period. ,/ ,/

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing on behalf of respondents submits that if the said representation is still pending for consideration, the respondent authorities may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 23.1O.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side and without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 23.1O.2025 and take appropriate action strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by giving a fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
