2. The case of the petitioner is that he has been suffering from Neurological health issues. On O5.04.2023, petitioner suddenly suffered a paralysis stroke affecting his limbs' After being examined by a nearby doctor, he was referred to Sai Krishna Neuro Hospital, Kachiguda, Hyderabad, where he received outpatient treatment, and the medical bill amounted to Rs.36,011/-. Later, due to his critical health condition, he was advised to go to Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, Hyderabad, with the understanding that his medical expenses would be covered under the "Aarorya Sree" scheme. However, during a preliminary 2 '_:!t { examination, the hospital mana gement demanded Rs. 2,00, 000 / - as admission charges. When the petitioner's family requested treatment under the Aarorya Sree scheme, the hospital refused and suggested him to apply for a refund of the total medical expenses under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund(CMRF) aJter his treatment and discharge. As the petitioner's condition became serious, and without any other option, he r.r,.as admitted to Yashoda Hospital for treatment, promising to pa]. the admission charges and entire medical expenses. To cover these costs, his family borrowed Rs. 7,85,0OO/- at an interest rate of Rs. 2/ per month and he underwent treatm6nt from 06.04.2023 to

13.O4.2023. Further case of the petitioner is that the State of Telangana implements the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the poorest of the poor in distress due to health issues. As the petitioner is a daily wage laborer, he spent nearly Rs.6,OO,00O/- towards surgery fees, medicines, and other related expenses, with a total bill of Rs.5,94,2461-. He applied for a refund of these medical expenses under the CMRF scheme in August 2023. After several visits to respondent Nos. 1 and 2, his request was considered, and he was gralted Rs.60,000/- out of the Rs.6,00,OOO/- spent. Administration Department submitted that G.O.Ms'No'632, Revenue (DA.II) Department, dated' 07.05.2005, a11ows for assistance to be provided to people outside the Below Poverty Line category based on their economic status' It has been noted that some individuals, even if not in the below poverty line category, are still unable to bear the medical and non-medical hardships. Therefore, the Government decided to extend assistance to such individuals, with an income not exceeding Rs. 5O,OOO/- per annum, and in special cases, the limit can be relaxed at the Chief Minister's discretion' Learned Assistant Government Pleader further noted that petitioner had already been granted Rs.60,000/- towards his medical expenses and requested that the writ petition may be closed' -/ I I 4 -
