Learned counsel for petitioncr submits that in somewhat similar circumstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 20121 of 2025, this Court by order dated 14.07 -2025 directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subject to the compliance of the statutory requirements by the petitioner therein, and hence, requested this Court to pass similar order in the present Writ P(] tition also. \ \ 2 4 - Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ro1 znd.ra Kumar Barjatga u. U.P. Aoas Eaam Vikas Parishad.l in the larger public intercst, issued directions in addition t( rhe directives issucd in Re; Directions in the motter of demoLitkn of stntctures. Relevant for thc purpose of this case are: "(iv) AII the necessary service connections. s uch as, Electricity, water supply, sewerage connect i, n, etc., shall be givcn by the service provider / Boar 1 to the buildings only after the production oI the (]()r lpletion / occu lration certillcate. (v) trven after issuance oI completion cr -tilicate, deviation / violation if any contrary to the rlanning permission brought to the notice of the I uthorit)' immediatc s[cps be taken by the said i uthority concerned, in accordance with law, aglr nst the builder . / owner / occupant; and the olficia , who is responsible for issuance of wrongful corrl letion / occllprrtrolt certificate shall be r-oceeded depa rr mentally iorthwith. Since the prayer of petitioner is to receive the application form and release individual service connection, this Court without going into merits of the matter, directs the respondents to process the application of the petitioner and rerease individuar service connection to the subject property, subject to the petitioner complying with the directions issued by the Hon,ble Supreme Court in RaJendra Kurnar Barjatga,s case (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities. 6 The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed o[.
