Petitioners/Accused Nos.l to 5 AND State of Telangana, rep. by Public Prosecutor, High Court ol'Telangana and another. ....Respondents COMMON ORDER: This Criminal Petition has been filed by the pet.itioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 seeking to quash the proceedings in c.c.No.5o3 of 2023 on the file of the II Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad.

Mr.J.Teja varma, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that during the pendency of the present Criminal petition, at the instance of -the well wishers, relatives and elders, the parties have settled the dispute and entered compromise and filed Joint Memo. Accordingly, respondent No.2 filed I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2,025 to permit / t f, l,ijl i: i 2 them to compound the offences and to record the compromise entered between them respectively.

This Court uide order, dated 18.11 .2025, directed the parties i.e., the petitioners and respondent No.2, to appear before the High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad, on or before 26.L1.2025. In compliance of the said order, the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, has submitted report, dated 22.1L.2025, stating that the petitioner Nos.l to 3 and respondent No.2 were duly identified with copies of their Aadhar Cards, and petitioner Nos.4 and 5 were not appeared before the High Court Legal Services Committee. It is further stated ih"t th" parties i.e. petitioner Nos.2 to 3 and respondent have willfully and without any coercion entered into compromise.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that petitioner Nos.4 and 5 are residing at U.S.A. and due to which, they could not appeared physically before the High Court Legal Services Committee or before this Court and they have executed General Power of Attorney (GPA) in favour of petitioner No.1 and petitioner No.l was already appeared before the High Court Legal Services Committee.

Mr.K.Santhosh Kumar, learned counsel, representing Mr.V.V.Satyanarayana, Iearned counsel for respondent No.2 has stated that he is not having any objection to quash the proceedings rF- agZtltrst petitioner Nos.4 and 5 also. He further submitted that he is not disputing the submission made by the learn,:d counsel for the petitioners.

6. The parties herein have filed Joint Memo along with I.A.No.2 of

2025. The said Joint Memo and the report of the Secretary, Telangana High court Legal Services committee, Hyderabad, are placed on record.

7. In vierv of the said report and also in view of the compromise entered between the petitioners and respondent No.2 as.well as the submissions made by the respective parties, I.A.No:;.1 and 2 of 2o2s are allowed. consequently, the proceedings in c.c.No.5o3 of 2023 on the file of the II Additional Metropolitan Magisrrate, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, are hereby quashed against the petitioners.

8. Accordingly, the criminal Petition is allowed, subject to payment of costs of Rs.10,oo0/- (Rupees ten thousand only) r.o the High court Legal services committee and Rs.10,000/- (Rupees te:n thousand only) to the Telangana High court Advocates Association Hyderabad, by the petitioners within one week from today.
