Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Honr, r has submitted that, upon completion of the investigation, the lnvestigat rg Officer found that the materials collected did not disclose the corr mission of any cognizable offence. Consequently, the Police filed a f t al report before -.- -_ 2 the jurisdictional Magistrate, recommending closure of the case for lack of evidence 4 I have carefully perused the records placed on file.

Having regard to the submissions advanced and in view of the subsequent deveropments during the course of investigation, it is evident that the grievance ventirated in the writ petition no ronger survives for consideration. Once the lnvestigating Agency, upon due inquiry, has opined that no offence is made out, and the matter is raid before the competent Court for acceptance or rejection of the final report, the cause raised in the petition stands rendered infructuous. 6 Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
