2. Heard Smt. Thakur Roopa Singh, Iearned counsel for the petitioner, Iearned Government Pleader for trnergz on behalf of Rcspondent No.1, Sri N. Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TGSPDCL on behalf of Respondent Nos.2 to 6 and Sri G.Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.7 - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that in somewhat similar circuinstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 2O121 of 2025, this Court by order dated 14.07.2O25 directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subject to the compliance of the statutory requirements by the petitioner thefein, and hence, requested this Court to pass similar order in the present Writ Petition aiso. \ 2

4. Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ra iendrd Kumar Bdrlatga a. tl.P. Aaas Eaam Vikc's Parishad 1 , rn the larger public intercst, issued directions in addition tc the directives issued in Rr:: Directions in the matter of demolit.tc n of stntctures. Relevant for the purpose of this case are: "(iv) Att the necessary service connections. ;uch as, Electricitlr, water supply, sewerage connect on, etc., shall tre given by Lhe service provider / Boa -d to the buildings only alter the production of the r rt mpletion / occupalion certifica te. (v) Even after issuance of completion c:rtificate, deviation / violalion i[ any contrary to th,: planning permission brought to the notice of the authority immediate steps be taken by the said authority concerncd, in accordance with law, a 1 rinst the builder / owner / occupant; and the ofllc i rl, who is responsible for issuance of wrongful co r pletion / occupation certificate shall be rrocceded departmentally forthwith. (vi) No pcrmission / licence to conduct an1' rusiness / trade must be given by any authorities inclr Lding local bodies of States / Union Territories; in any unauthoriscd building irrespective of it being residential or commercial building. (vii) The development must be in conforrri y with the zonal pian Iand usage. Any modifrcation to such zonal ;Plan and usage must be taken by stric J z following ' 2024 SCC Online SC 3767 3 the rules in place land in consideration of the larger public interest and the impact on the environment".

Since the prayer of petitioner is to receive the application form and release individual service connection, this Court without going into merits of the matter, directs the respondents to process the application of the petitioner and release individual service connection to the subject property, subject to the petitioner complying with the directions issued by the Honble Supreme Court in Rdjend.ro Kuntqr BarJatga's case (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities.
