The Court made the foilowing: ORDER I i e THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NAGESH BHEEMAPAKA WRIT PETITION No.3443O OF 2o25 ORDER: Petitioners seeking a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 6 in not receiving their application for electricity connections to their property bearing Plot No.1141, admeasuring 500 square yards in survey Nos.1Il14, lll15, lll16, llllT and 1ll18, partof survey No.11, situated at Khanamet Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

2. Heard Smt. Thakur Roopa Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Energr on behalf of Respondent No.1, Sri N. Sreedhar Reddy, Iearned Standing Counsel for TGSPDCL on behalf of Respondent Nos.2 to 6 and Sri G.Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.7 - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in somewhat siinilar circumstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 2Ol2L of 2025, this Court by order dated L4.O7.2025 directed + the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subject to the compliance of the statutory requirements by the petitioner therein, and hence, requested this I Court to pass similar order in the present Writ Petition q|99-"- / z

4. Recently, the Honble supreme court in Rajendra Kumar Bantatga a- u-p. Aaas Euam viko.s pqrishadt, in the larger public interest, issued directions in addition to the directives issued in Re: Directions in the matter of d.emolition of struchtres. Relevant for the purpose of this case are: "(iv) All the necessary service connections, such as, Electricity, water supply, sewerage connection, etc., shall be given by the service provider / Board to the buildings only after the production of the compretion / occupation certificate. (") Even after ibsuance of completion certificate, deviation / violation if any contrary to the planning permission brought to the notice of the authorit5r immediate steps be taken by the said authorit5r concelned, in accordance with law, against the builder / owner / occupant; and the official, who is responsible for issuance of wrongful completion / occupation certificate proceeded departmentally forthwith. shall be (vi) No permission / licence to conduct any business / trade must be given by any authorities including rocal bodies of States /Union Territories in any unauthorised building irrespective of it being residential or commercial building. (vii) The development must be in conformity *itr, th. zonal plan land usage. Since in" prayer of the petitioners is to receive the application form and release individual service connection, this Court without going into merits of the matter, directs the respondents to process the application of the petitioners and release individual service connection to the subject property, subject to the petitioners complying with the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Raiendra Kumar BarJatga's case (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities.
